A GRACEFUL RESIDENCE ALONG SIDE THE LUXEMBOURG GARDENS
Location, refinement and convenience define this 67 square meter (721 square feet) apartment on the wonderful Rue Vavin in the 6th arrondissement (Left Bank). Entry gates to the Luxembourg Gardens are only steps away and easy access to other sought after sections of the 6th such as the Boulevard Saint Germain and the church and square of Saint Sulpice are only a short walk.
The flat is on the 5th floor (French) of a newly renovated building which includes a cage enclosed wooden elevator and a central courtyard filled with plantings and ivy. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room overlook the courtyard and provide sun and a feeling of extended space to this very quiet apartment. The living room itself is very spacious. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and offers all modern amenities. Sleeping arrangements for up to 4 guests consist of a queen size bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in the other. There is also a sofa bed in the living room (able to accommodate a child) but the total number of guests may not exceed 4. The bathroom contains a shower as well as a full size tub while the WC is separate. The flat also includes a "mobile" air conditioning unit.
For those not very familiar with the Gardens of the Luxembourg, it is worth noting that along with splendid flower beds, trees, fountains, walkways and views, the Gardens also have a large playground for children containing climbing areas, swings, a puppet show and even ponies. Other sections of the Gardens include a tennis court, basketball court, jogging paths and areas for playing petanque or the traditional French game of "boules". |
