EXPERIENCE ELEGANT LIVING IN THE ST. GERMAIN DES PRES QUARTER
Convenient location and chic surroundings, both within and without, define the main attributes of this flat. Located on the rue de Sevres, it is only a stone through from several points of interest including the Boulevard St. Germain, the church St. Sulpice, the Bon Marche department store, the trendy shops of the rue du Bac and not far from the Jardin du Luxembourg. The unit is comprised of a sizable living/dining area, elegantly decorated for both personal enjoyment and entertainment. Accommodations are for up to 4 people. There is a double sofa bed in the living area and a queen size bed measuring 180 by 200 centimeters, in the bedroom. The entire space is 45 square meters (approximately 482 square feet), has hard wood flooring throughout and is on the 2nd floor (French) of a 19th building with elevator. Two large windows, one in the living/dining area and one in the bedroom, look out onto an inner courtyard. The bathroom also contains a window and is ensuite to the bedroom. All modern amenities are provided for a vacation visit or professional stay. The quarter itself is bustling, up scale and offers an almost inexhaustible selection of restaurants, cafes, shops, open-air markets and art galleries. The 6th arrondissement in general and the area around the Boulevard St. Germain in particular comprise the most expensive real estate per square meter in
the city.
The 6th arrondissement has long been appreciated by visitors to Paris as one of the city’s most desirable locations. Within close proximity to several major metro lines, the district is well served by the Capital’s rapid transit system. The Boulevard St. Germain of course is a focal point of the 6th and for many, of the Left Bank in general. Along the Boulevard are located the restaurants Les Deux Magots, Le Café Flore and the Brasserie Lipp. Other well known restaurants include Le Café Procope and Le Polidor bistro. An abundance of fashionable stores and boutiques are to be found in this district; Louis Vuitton, Roche Bobois and Yves Saint Laurent to name only a few. Other attractions include the Palais du Luxembourg which houses the French Senate, the Jardin du Luxembourg, the Musee du Luxembourg, the church St. Sulpice, the Institut de France and the Place St. Michel.
