Description
Excellent value is provided by this lovely, cozy and wonderfully planned out apartment. Situated in a truly traditional Parisian neighborhood and located in an architecturally important 18C building boasting period details, the apartment has been recently renovated (2010). Paris rooftop views, light and the feeling of spaciousness make this apartment a delight. A large, metal, period, caged elevator services the fifth floor. Sleeping accommodations for two to three people are provided by a large queen (American size) bed and a queen size sofa bed. The bath is fully modern as is the kitchen area. Quiet, comfort and convenience in a wonderful building and neighborhood are what have always prompted our guests to call our apartment a true value.
Location
Several small villages or neighborhoods comprise much of what is now called the 9th arrondissment. A wonderfully secluded but highly accessible and centrally located area the 9th contains outstanding sights of cultural, historic and commercial interest often overlooked by those unfamiliar with the Paris where “The Parisians Live”. Three Metro stops serve our area as well as numerous bus lines. While only a short distance by foot (9 to 12 minutes) to major spots like the Opera Garnier, the department stores of the Gallerie LaFayette and the Printamps and the extensive shopping of the Grands Boulevards, smaller more charming points of interest exist throughout the quarter. The churches of La Trinite and Notra Dame de Lorette, the absolutely charming Place Bruyere, the museums of La Vie Romantique, Gustave Moreau and Grevin and the numerous smaller theaters and neighborhood restaurants all contribute to make our area a Parisian experience. Additionally, easy access to the Place Pigalle and the excitingly wonderful grocery shopping to be had along the rue Lepic enhance both nightly entertainment and daily requirements.
